Landscape celebrates World Savings Day

October 31st is not only Halloween, but also World Savings Day. It comes around every year to highlight the importance of financial planning. Not only does saving money help you meet your financial goals, but it can also have a positive effect on your mental well-being.

Dating back to the Great Depression, the idea was conceived to shift the public’s efforts towards saving their money and ultimately build a better quality of life. Today, this idea is stronger than ever amidst the cost of living crisis.

At Landscape, we have our own way of doing things, so we decided to celebrate this day with our ‘Money Zingers: a series of short animations around eight rules for you to follow when it comes to looking after your money.

About Money Zingers

Money has a significant impact on business and the economy, therefore employers need to do their part in providing the right guidance and support for their employees. We believe everyone has the right to be armed with the right information when it comes to making decisions with their hard-earned wages.

We were initially fascinated by US Social Scientist Harold Pollack’s claims that you can fit all you need to know about money on an index card. This was the inspiration for our Money Zingers. Enjoy.
