Brightwell has a unique history, background, and approach to pension management. It offers investment management, fiduciary and pension administration services. It was previously known as BTPSM (British Telecom Pension Scheme Management Ltd), responsible for managing the multi-award-winning BT Pension Scheme (BTPS) – one of the UK’s largest private sector pension schemes.

Challenge
BTPSM was dedicated to administering solely BTPS. It had implemented an ambitious programme of transformational improvement to its services which made it a market leader. Looking to the future, it took a bold new strategic direction to expand its offer beyond BTPS and launched Brightwell. It needed a standalone website that clearly explains the new unique proposition to the market, and that it was open for business for new clients.
Solution
Through workshops and interactive collaboration sessions, Landscape structured the content and then designed and built an elegant web presence that not only showcases the new brand, but also clearly communicates the new focus on third-party provision.
The content pulls the values to the surface, as well as its experience, expertise and capabilities, from the core services to the dedicated insights section demonstrating thought leadership.

The brand launch made a significant impact in the industry, receiving columns and pixels of press interest, with the website as the primary call to action.
Within days of launching, it won its first new client EE and subsequently Brightwell has won many industry awards and recognition, including the Pension Age ‘DB Pension Scheme of the Year’.
