A tender is a formal invitation to make an offer for the supply of goods or services. The difficulty is that competing proposals can offer what appears to be the same service. This makes it hard to choose and it often seems to come down to price. Creating differentiation not just in the solution but also the manner and quality of the proposal can make a substantial difference to first and lasting impressions.
Landscape were approached with re-purposing Morgan Sindall’s tender submissions. We have a track record in helping organisations migrate their bids from a printed document to a digital and interactive app based format. These also serve as a visual aid for a face-to-face presentation with their client. As usual, we need to work closely with the bid team and key stakeholders to ensure responses satisfy the rigid requisites of RFPs and is delivered to the challenging timelines that accompany tenders.
Our main aim was to present the vast and complex content in beautiful simplicity. We helped to create a consistent structure to the submissions and helped define which content was integral to the solution. Interactive timelines, animated graphics, time-lapse drawings and video content were all integrated into the app for an immersive experience. Analytics were also included so that frequently visited content could be analysed and tailored for future conversations.
This is an example of one of the many tender support projects Landscape worked on. When the tender value is sufficient to justify an investment in innovative tender reporting, our app approach has a compelling success hit rate.
