When Evolve, evolved

As a master trust, Evolve works with employers and pension schemes to offer workplace pension services. We needed to find a way to bring pensions out of the dark ages with a roarsome brand campaign (see what we did there?)



Challenge

As part of their brand positioning, Evolve wanted a campaign that would reflect their innovative approach and help them stand out from the crowd.

Solution

Our creative thinkers and doers got on the case by hosting an immersive workshop, looking at everything from brand narrative and purpose to tone of voice and visual identity.

A constant theme was the confusion around pensions in general, which inspired our ‘time for change’ campaign. The idea was all about moving pensions communications into the 21st century, so what better way to illustrate that than some dinosaurs having a disco?!

We storyboarded the concept during a national lockdown (art directing over Zoom is as difficult as you imagine but we love a challenge). We also ran a one-day photography shoot to capture a suite of bespoke images that could be rolled out across digital and offline media.

We believe success means never standing still. That’s why we put innovation at the heart of everything we do.

The campaign makes Evolve stand out from the crowd and has helped to position them as an innovator.
